Embracing Transformation

The transition from one year to the next is a natural juncture for introspection and self-reflection, inspiring a collective sentiment of renewal and the promise of personal growth. At the core of "New Year New Me" I want to have a core plan this year 2024:cultivating a new habit, prioritizing quality time with family, fostering financial responsibility and an enhanced focus on mental and physical wellness .  Combining a new habit with academic goals gives the approach an additional positive change component. Our routines are shaped by our habits, which have an impact on our well being and productivity. Developing a positive habit really aids in personal growth whether it is reading regularly, practicing mindfulness or engaging in a regular fitness. The focus on spending time with family emphasizes how important it is to maintain relationships even in the face of life responsibilities. Setting aside time for family relationships in today's world strengthens emotional tie...

Let's go Estudyantepreneur!

At the heart of the estudyantepreneur program are a variety of engaging activities designed to unleash the entrepreneurial potential of students. One such activity is the film viewing sessions, where students gather to watch and discuss movies that delve into the triumphs and tribulations of entrepreneurship. These screenings serve as a source of inspiration and education, offering valuable insights into the realities of starting and running a business. In addition to film viewings, the estudyantepreneur program offers practical business ventures such as spa services. Students trained in massage therapy and other spa treatments provide relaxation and rejuvenation to their peers and faculty members. Not only does this generate income for the students involved, but it also fosters a culture of wellness within the academic community. But the entrepreneurial spirit doesn't stop there. Games, photo booths, and picture-taking opportunities are also part of the estudyantepreneur lineup, ...

Mother's Day!!

Mother’s Day is a special occasion celebrated globally, but it maintains special significance in the hearts of Filipinos. In the Philippines, Mother’s Day is not just a day for mothers; it's a day to honor all motherly figures, including grandmothers, aunts, and godmothers. Families often gather to represent gratitude, love, and appreciation through different motions such as preparing special meals, giving heartfelt gifts, or organizing outings. It’s a time for reflection on the sacrifices and unconditional love that mothers provide. Traditional Filipino celebrations of Mother’s Day often affect a blend of everyday practices and indigenous customs. One common tradition is the preparation of a unique dinner featuring Filipino delicacies and favorite dishes of the honored mother figure.  Another tradition is the giving of "mano po," a gesture of respect where younger family members take the hand of their elders and press it to their forehead as a sign of reverence and love...
