My Christmas

Holidays. Once more, it's that time of year. December has arrived along with all of the Christmas delights. Christmas is a time to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, who is revered as the Son of God in Christian culture. Christmas is celebrated all over the world. Its the time when family and friends gather.

This is the time to enjoy our family and friends. This is my favorite month because it's the time of giving the present and receiving. This is the time to enjoy, have fun like watching fireworks and lighting a Christmas tree, watching some movies, having some parlor games, eating with family and my favorite part is the countdown.

To sum it all up, Christmas is very important to us. This helps us to understand what Christmas is. This is the time when we gather together to celebrate the most important day of December.

Mother's Day!!

Mother’s Day is a special occasion celebrated globally, but it maintains special significance in the hearts of Filipinos. In the Philippines, Mother’s Day is not just a day for mothers; it's a day to honor all motherly figures, including grandmothers, aunts, and godmothers. Families often gather to represent gratitude, love, and appreciation through different motions such as preparing special meals, giving heartfelt gifts, or organizing outings. It’s a time for reflection on the sacrifices and unconditional love that mothers provide. Traditional Filipino celebrations of Mother’s Day often affect a blend of everyday practices and indigenous customs. One common tradition is the preparation of a unique dinner featuring Filipino delicacies and favorite dishes of the honored mother figure.  Another tradition is the giving of "mano po," a gesture of respect where younger family members take the hand of their elders and press it to their forehead as a sign of reverence and love...

My Journey

This fourth quarter has been a period of significant learning and growth for me. One of the key skills I've acquired is the ability to create sitemaps, a crucial aspect of organizing and visualizing website structures. Additionally, delving into the world of technology, I've expanded my knowledge about different types of cables, understanding their uses and functionalities. Moreover, exploring new formulas in mathematics and chemistry has broadened my problem-solving skills and enhanced my analytical thinking. From naming and balancing chemical equations to deciphering complex data sets, each learning experience has been invaluable. However, amidst these enriching experiences, I encountered certain challenges. The process of completing extensive research projects proved to be time-consuming and demanding. At times, the sheer volume of activities seemed overwhelming, leading to moments of cramming and last-minute rushes. Nevertheless, I confronted these challenges head-on by se...

ARAW NG KAGITINGAN

Araw Ng Kagitingan on April 9, 1942, marked a turning point in Philippine history and symbolized the bravery and resiliency of the Filipino people in the face of hardship. This event is celebrated as Araw ng Kagitingan, also known as the Day of Valor, in honor of the bravery and sacrifice of Filipino and American soldiers during World War II. The day remembers the bravery and valor of those who battled for freedom and democracy and serves as a reminder of the sacrifices they made. Despite being outnumbered and having difficult circumstances, American and Filipino men bravely defended the Philippines against Japanese forces during the Battle of Bataan. The soldiers went through severe suffering during the months-long conflict, including hunger, illness, and intense fighting. Generations of Filipinos have been inspired by their unwavering resolve and charitable bravery in the face of impossible circumstances. In addition to celebrating the past, Araw ng Kagitingan serves as a chanc...
